New Online Store Brings Yantra Tattoo T-shirts and Hoodies to the Mainstream
TeeManiac.com opens their online shop offering Yantra Tattoo T-shirts and Hoodies at low prices
STANTON, CALIFORNIA — February 18, 2009 — Due to the overwhelming demand of Yantra Tattoos by people across the country and beyond, TeeManiac.com opens a brand new site selling and delivering T-shirts and hoddies having everyone’s favorite Yantra tattoo designs on them so that people do not need to go through the procedure of getting a real tattoo.
Yantra tattooing is different than the other forms of tattooing and that’s what makes it so popular in the Southeast Asian countries including Thailand and Cambodia and most recently in the US. The procedure has its sacred origins dating back in ancient Buddhist times where Buddhist monks or Brahmin priests perform the tattooing in temples. Now ordinary people can get these designs and have since become real popular. Even popular celebrities like Angelina Jolie have Yantra tattoos on their bodies.
Some records show that the early tattoo designs date way back in Angkor times. The designs since then have evolved as different masters add to their designs based on their visions during their meditations. Some of the designs have been adapted from Animal Spirits that are currently a part of Thai Buddhist beliefs. Till this very day, this activity lives on in Wat Bang Phra in Nakhon Chaysri, Nakhon Pathom Province, Thailand. However, the Yantra designs preexisted in Hindu India and later were adapted by the Khmer as Buddhism influenced the India inhabitants.
Yantra tattoos are more than just mere body decoration. Cambodians believe that the Yantra Tattoo invokes self-protection to the bearer housing magical powers that can keep evil and hardship at bay. This is why military personnel use these designs for good luck. It is also believed that these magical properties will only take effect if the receiver doesn’t talk to anyone for three days and three nights after receiving it.
Because not everyone are into tattoos, these ancient arts are applied to other mediums including metal or placed on signages. Now TeeManiac.com continues the tradition by having them on T-shirts for everyone to wear and benefit from the magical beliefs.
The TeeManiac.com website presents the application of the tattoos themselves and some of the recent T-shirt designs that are up for sale. Users can then browse for both Yantra Tattoo T-shirts or Yantra Tattoo Hoodies by simply choosing the category. A quick find is also available for fast searching of a desired T-shirt. Product reviews will also be available in the near future.
In celebration of their launch, TeeManiac.com opens with a sale which cuts 25% or more off all t-shirts and hoodies that are up for sale. Quality isn’t skipped in terms of t-shirt design as the designs closely resemble their tattoo counterparts and the Yantra tattoos are printed on American Apparel – a brand known for its good quality shirts.
TeeManiac is dedicated to selling Yantra tattoo t-shirts and hoodies unlike other online t-shirt outlets that sell all sorts of designs. Since there are many different forms of Yantra tattoo art, there should be plenty of different and interesting designs to choose from that all have the sacred properties of the Yantra.
